The Vahe Khochayan Young Artist Concerto Competition is open to pre-college students of music teachers based in Nevada. Applicants must be 18 years of age or younger.

 

The competition is separated into a Junior division, for ages 13 and younger*;

and Senior Division, for ages 14 to 18*.

Applicants may submit a video audition on any of the standard orchestral instruments as well as piano, harp, saxophone, baritone horn, euphonium, and percussion.

KEY DATES:

Applications and audition videos are due by Friday, January 31, 2025.

Applicants will be notified of preliminary round results no later than Friday, February 14, 2025.

Advancing finalists will compete at the in-person finals round on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

Junior and Senior division winners will perform with the RCO in concert on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
